Join us this week as we kick off the New Year! Hannah takes us to the “Little Poland” area of Chicago in the early 1900’s where Tillie Klimek started causing havoc in her neighborhood. She was considered to be a bit of a psychic and became really good at predicting the deaths of her husbands. Bad deeds ran through her family and we also learn about her cousin Nellie’s murderous nature. It was hard to do astrology on this one as most articles only gave her birth year of 1876. One article did go off all by itself and said Tillie was born on October 22, 1877, which Hannah is skeptical of, but if this is true, this does make Tillie a Libra and Hannah is fine with continuing to disparage Libras.

This was the most scattered script that Hannah has written thus far, so we also go down various rabbit holes and learn about the French folktale “Bluebeard”, some fun facts about 1876, and a haunted Hooters.

For astrology, the peak of the Quadrantids meteor shower occurs on January 3rd-4th. We didn’t really get into any astrology that correlates with meteor showers, but it should be a beautiful event.

Food Pairing: Tillie tried to woo Joseph Guskowski by taking him on a “romantic” trip to Milwaukee. It didn’t really work for her but perhaps sharing the “champagne of beers” with someone will work for you.
